Our quilted jacket is made from crosshatch ikat cotton, hand-woven in India using a time-honoured technique. The cotton yarns are carefully bound and dyed before weaving, resulting in a soft fabric with a distinctive, hazy motif inspired by kites in flight. Hand-quilted with recycled polyester wadding for warmth, this jacket is both beautifully crafted and consciously made. The fabric is woven under the guidance of master artisan Bikshapati Kolaan, who has been continuing his family's weaving legacy for over four decades in the village of Yellanki, Andhra Pradesh.
